Too Early. Way too early.

Costco had Christmas stuff for sale already. Just one little island of cheer, but please stop. It is only August. Kids aren’t even back in school yet. Do you really need a light up reindeer now? Please send your child to school with Number 2 pencils, 2 erasers, a box of tissue and at least one light up reindeer no fewer than 3 feet high.

Who knows, maybe there is some weird Texas holiday that makes this all make sense. I hope not.
